Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents fled to the US where they were granted asylum. Ghanizada is the middle child with two brothers and sisters, and was born within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera work by appearing in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of this performance, she was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival for the Best Actress Award. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the action science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada first appeared in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada play Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
